British Virgin Islands, has successfully implemented the Sentori® Billing and Customer Care system. | Based in Tortola, CCT Boatphone provides on-board wireless services to sailing tourists and island visitors as well as wireless services to residents and local businesses in the British Virgin Islands. The Sentori system will allow CCT Boatphone to facilitate flexible billing options, including the assignment of individual customer PIN numbers for call tracking and billing and the establishment of customer credit limits. The Sentori Billing and Customer Care system is an innovative solution built using a multi-tiered and Web-based technology platform. The Sentori system's unique design provides built-in network mediation and service provisioning, real-time rating and multi-service billing; Web self-care and Electronic Bill Presentment & Payment (EBPP), order fulfillment and flexible product and service packaging. The Sentori Billing system was deployed in partnership with Logica, a global solutions company, which also performed data migration services from the legacy system including design, development data cleansing, and performance tuning and cutover to production operation. CCT Boatphone also plans to implement a second phase of the billing solution, including point of sale (POS) and inventory control, early in 2002.
