Integrated bills used as a cost-effective tool for customer communications

MECHANICSBURG, PA - EUR Systems announced Wednesday that Working Assets, a long distance and wireless service provider,
has integrated its long distance and wireless bills into a single bill. The new bill provides convenience to Working Assets'
customers while helping to reduce costs. The basis for the new system is the EUR-developed application that has
been producing long distance bills for Working Assets for the past eleven years. On top of this platform,
EUR added the 3G wireless application from Sentori, which is hosted in EUR Systems' data center. This supports
Working Assets' wireless MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) business processes by providing the rating, billing
and customer care platform for its wireless subscribers.
"The significance of this project can't be underestimated," says Ted Volchok, VP of Billing and Development of Working
Assets. "For Working Assets, having the ability to deliver an integrated bill with all our products and services that
highlights our donations and politics is just huge. It will save us money, improve our ability to retain our customers,
give us a great tool in acquiring customers, and increase our activism."
Working Assets provides its customers with bills that do much more than itemize the details of phone charges.
The bills, which are printed on 100% post consumer waste recycled paper, are supported by unique bill messaging capability
that reinforces the progressive image of Working Assets and enables them to communicate dynamically with their customers.
EUR has been producing these bills for over 11 years. These customized bills help reinforce what Working Assets
stands for… "a world that is more just, humane and environmentally sustainable." Since 1985, Working Assets has
raised over $30 million for groups such as Amnesty International and the Rainforest Action Network.
"Working Assets is breaking new ground with the use of its bills, and we worked together to produce a creative,
innovative, and exciting solution," says John Boyd, Chairman and CEO of EUR Systems. "Working Assets covers
many issues regarding the environment, and the integrated bill truly helps them make a difference by dramatically
cutting down on the amount of paper needed for printing bills. We are proud that Working Assets chose EUR Systems
and Sentori to be part of this project."
"EUR and Sentori's technical abilities, product strengths, and customer service were instrumental in the successful
development - within a tight delivery schedule - of an converged bill configuration for Working Assets," says John
Bennett, President of Sentori. "Sentori works closely with strategic partners such as EUR, to deliver unsurpassed
customer service to our clients."
"EUR and Sentori were faced with a very aggressive schedule, uncharted operational and systems territory, and the
unique challenges of interfacing the Sentori application into the home-grown EUR platform and merging billing data
from both into a single monthly statement, , and the EUR and Sentori development team found a way to deliver
exactly what we needed," says Volchok. "That ability to deliver is what makes both companies extraordinary."
