SENTORI ANNOUNCES NEW CONTRACTS WITH
DOUGLAS TELECOMMUNICATIONS, INC. (EASTERBROOKE CELLULAR CORPORATION) AND SIOUXLAND PCS
Wins Validate Sentori's Value Proposition for US Rural Wireless Service Providers
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, September 13, 2004 (RCA's Business and Marketing Seminar)
- Sentori, Inc., a leading provider of multi-service billing and customer care solutions, today announced that it has won multi-year contracts with Douglas Telecommunications, Inc. (Easterbrooke Cellular Corporation) and Siouxland PCS.
Douglas Telecommunications, Inc. (Easterbrooke Cellular Corporation, dba CellularOne) services GSM & TDMA subscribers in Elkins, West Virginia. "After conducting an exhaustive search for a replacement for our legacy billing and customer care system, we selected Sentori," said Andrew Havlik, Douglas Telecommunications' Operations Manager. "The Sentori solution gives us a carrier-grade solution that meets our current needs and will allow us to continue rolling out next-generation data and content services. The short deployment cycle, the operational flexibility and the ease-of-use of the Sentori platform offered a significantly lower total cost of ownership than the other options we considered," Havlik continued.
Siouxland PCS, Inc. (dba CellularOne Great Lakes of Iowa) operates GSM, CDMA, TDMA and AMPS networks in Northwestern Iowa. "Sentori positioned itself as our billing and customer care 'partner' from the beginning of our relationship - they worked with us to understand our needs and desires, and they are deploying a solution for us that will meet those requirements and much more" said Jerry Wilke, Siouxland PCS' General Manager. "In addition to exceeding our expectations at the technical and operating levels, Sentori has worked with us to find commercial terms that fit within our financial budget as a small - but growing - rural cellular carrier."
"We are thrilled to have closed contracts with two very prominent members of the Rural Cellular Association," said John Bennett, Sentori's President & CEO. "We have made a concerted effort over the last 24 months to adapt our billing and customer care platform to the needs of RCA member carriers, and this effort is starting to bear fruit. I am grateful to both Douglas and Siouxland PCS for their 'votes of confidence' in Sentori, and I am equally grateful to the entire Sentori team without which these successes would not be possible," Bennett concluded.
Sentori will demonstrate its award winning billing & customer care solution at the Rural Cellular Association's Business & Marketing Seminar in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 13-14, 2004.
